The crease begins right after the gas tank latch and then goes from the wheel well to almost the rear windshield. The trunk latches fine too. The image is accurate on how high the trunk is up but it is also decieving because the panel was shifted downward, causing the illusion that it is creased up. The quarter panel was forced down and allowed the gap to be as big as it is seen. The trnk appears level at least to my eye, nothing drastic. The miracle is that the downpipe for the gas tank has remained in tact with out being bent. i think the corrosion around the filler opening allowed it to break away and remain still after the panel moved forward. I have tried to bonk the thing out and yank the panel out in various ways and had no luck. Also I have gotten the bumper on with no problem and appears as straight as it can be for now, along with the tailight mounted only being able to catche i think 3 out of the 4 or 5 bolts that petrude through the back panel. But it is mounted. So i am still determined to work it out as long as i can get some kind of replacement for the back panel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will pay top dollar no problem

How is the trunk floor? Do you have any pics of the inside of the trunk at that corner? Your old quarter panel will have to be cut away and the new one welded in place. I am willing to bet that the back panel can be straightened while the quarter panel is off.

You will definitely need the filler strip and molding that goes between the bumper and tail lights though.

Re: Rear end got crushed in....Need parts!

Thank you guys for the advice and help! How much are these hammer and dolly sets? My plan is to they this out with a fe friends of mine and get some welding lessons as we go. Affordable. But maybe not professional. I would like to have a professional paint job though. I have such a strange thing going on with the paint all along the sides of the vehicle. Its asiff it was wererun down with a fine ssandpaper. But I know its not. Its as if the paints cracked and created these stream lines. I can compare it to the look of the delorean stainless steel. Its so weirs. I will get some pics. Can anyone relate to what I'm talking about???

I'd say you lucked out on this one since it didn't really bend anything relating to the frame. I personally would get a donor car so you can cut the back section off it then weld it to your current car. It looks like the area around the pillar is fine so really this is just swapping a corner. If you know someone who can do metal work this looks fixable.

I definitely lucked out. Thank you guys for all the help again. Bob, I contacted the guy on thisoodhonda, he crushed the CSR unfortunately. I am going to look into the set to see if I can whip out anything. My precision skills are minimal though. I will most likely need to cut the piece out and bang on it being that the angels are are to swing on. Its a obvious open spot but the clearance is limited for a hammer swing. I am currently working on son custom modified side skirts at the moment this might be a project to come.
Pics in the thread will be up later!! Lotsss of pics!!
