'87 LXI 75k needs head work

My grey 1987 Accord LXI's tensioner went out last week. The engine will need work since the valves were bent in the process. Otherwise, the car only has about 75k on it. Front axles, some of the belts, and brakes replaced last month. Tires probably need to be replaced soon. One serious dent on the trunk, and the tint you see has been removed (rear defrost may not work thanks to the crack-hole that falsely guaranteed his work). This would be perfect for someone looking for a home for a performance engine. PM with what you would deem a fair price. Just testing the waters.

    Update:

The mechanic may have simply lied. Supposedly a compression test was done, turning the pistons/valves to compressed positions by hand, and it failed. I've now been told by someone else that I have a non-interference engine, which means that the valves should not have bent. The car may only need a new belt and tensioner.

I would just add, the A20 engine is commonly called an interference engine but in reality it's not. Many people have broken timing belts and not bent any valves (including myself).

    Where is this car located?
