the heater core is probably clogged up or the heater tap is seized
im not all that technical with cars what do you mean how can i check if its that and if so how can you fix it
so is there aything i can do for the heating does anyone know
If you've ever used a Stop Leak type product, then the core is probably clogged. You can try replacing it, but it will be very expensive. It takes a long time to pull a dash.

the best thing you can do is try to flush the whole system. there is a valve that open and closes and its by the firewall next to the hoses going into the heater core. you can try to unplug the hoses to make sure nothing is stuck inside or have too much build up.
