    Custom LEDs

I want to get some clear tail/brake lights, and put accordingly colored LEDs in place of the colored lenses. Anyone know how I'd do this?

    hey,
looks like you did a good job. I don't know anything about wiring stuff up...what all do you have to do to hook LEDs to the brake wires, and what kind of LEDs seem like the best to use on a 3rd gen?

well actually i just got some at my local AutoZone store. they just screw in just like the old bulb. the ones i got werent APC or any sport compact type brand, but they are some other brand which i cant remeber the name. they are also water proof. no special wiring required!!! well i will find out wut brand they are though. they were $14.99 for 2 bulbs. they are realy bright at night. so they are also street legal too.
