    Friend sitting for his SCCA novice permit hit a wall at about 90mph at Roebling Road in Savanna this past weekend...

    Good news, he walked away, Awesome cage!!

    Bad news, Frame is bent in the front and the rear, motor mounts have all broken off. All of the front suspension is bent and the steering rack separated from its mounts. The impact at the left front wheel shoved the left front axle hard enough to separate the transmission about 1/4 inch from the engine. Impact at the rear of the car twisted the left rear upward about an inch higher than the right, can tell that on jack stands. Door panel bottom is in about 1/2 inch, door panel top is out about 1/2 inch. It will require a new front clip and new rear clip so lots of welding and will need to go on a frame straighter to salvage.
