just keep in mind that the paint under the stripes isn't gonna match the rest of the car. all the years of wear take a toll. i started to take my stripes off, but it looked really goofy.

Here is what I did. I actually didn't even use a hair dryer. I just peeled with my nails for a couple hours. In some spots I got like 3ft at once. After I was done, yes there was the 2 lines all the way around. I waxed my car and that took a lot of it out, but the lines were still there. But you don't really notice them so it's no biggie. But mine are gone now since my new paintjob. I like pinstripes, but it looks much cleaner without them.

tonight i started on a project, what im doin is blowdrying the stripes and taking them off, in large peices, then im using some goo-be-gone, i got from walmart and getting rid of the stikery crap.

so if you got alot of time on your hands, just get some supplies and take off these damn stripes!

    later guys!

I took mine off when the car was four years old. Since mine is white the paint difference was negligible. Of course I waxed the car four times a year since new. I did look a whole hell of a lot better without the pin stripes, though.
