    are there any special tools needed to change brake pads
    89 accord LX-i , may she rest in peace

    not on 3g hondas.all you need is a socket(iforgot what size) and thats it.

    Two 12 mm bolts. Remove the lower and losen the upper.

    You might need a C clamp or a big plier to push back the caliper piston.
