    Front strut bar for non-FI?

Anyone know of any front strut bars, for the carbed models? Or am I just going to have to modify my airbox.

Sorry, I just haven't seen anything. One of the board members has been saying he might make some front strut bars, but I don't know if he's even thought about doing them for carbed cars.

And I do wanna add that I do do allot of looking for all kinds of stuff, so it's not like I haven't been looking. Shame is even for the efi guys you used to be able to get one for allot less than the DC Sports, but not anymore.

    make a custom one...
you could probably run the bars to the top of the firewall if theres enough strength there to be able to bolt one down too...
im going to take alook today since i got nothing else to do to see if it is possible...adding a intake for more clearance will probably be needed to fit it though
thats how the bars for a ae92 corolla works.....so why not on our cars?

i have never tried it but i have thought that maybe the efi ones would fit, but you would have to take it off to open the air box. maybe if you put on a weber with a low filter the efi bar would fit.....???

That's what I was thinking. I'm sure the struts are identical, but it must be the airbox in the way. Maybe if I replaced the box with pipe...
