    i heard they only came automatic ...you needed to special order the 5spds...not sure though...am i right ?

    yeah i heard on alt.automakers.honda that honda couldn't make a 5 speed to handle the torque, but i think that's b.s.

    they couldn't even be special ordered. only the 4cylinder had the stick.

    yeah thats BS. honda didnt put a stick in it because there wouldnt be enough sales to justify the investment and maunfacturing costs

    peeps that buyed the accord wit the 6 in it were old people with no desire to race... its like a mid priced lux car... the four banger needed the stick cuz they so slow and borin without somthin to do!

    nah it costs honda alot more to put a stick in a car that is usually auto, cause it disrupts the assembly line. which is why i think it's a ripoff to charge people $1000 for an automatic in a new car unless it's a car that is common to have a stick in i.e. a civic or neon.

    i don't know about that, my mom has a '98 and when you step on it the car moves. it isn't the fastest, but it kills my carbed '86. VTEC feels pretty nice.

    didn't they make a V6 stick for the European market? ie everywhere other than the US.
    Curses to the 3g Accord and all this support...cause no matter what, you can't help but love this car!!!

    i talked to honda dealer,he said the 03's instick were going to be rare.he said if you want one order one early,only a couple per dealership.

    I actually told her that i found a couple of V6s stick, but they were custom made. She did not spicify that they had to be stock V6 with no mods. So we called it a tie! hahahaha.......... :lol Gotta win one way or the other, specially against a chick! lol
