    How big should I go?

I don't know what size wheels I should get for my 91 Accord wagon and I need some opinions.
I'm not sure whether I will get chrome or silver but right now I am leaning towards silver because I will probably paint my car silver.
I'm not planning on doing this until spring but it gives me plenty of time to shop around.

    These are 17s.

    These are 18s.

    These are 19s.

My car will be very similar to these when I am done with it. It will be completely shaved and sitting on airbags just like these.

18s or 19s because of the style you go for i think 18s would be fine. I think 17s would look small depending on the style you go with on that particular car. Glad to see your back to the accords.

The main problem with 17s is that they look weird at ride height. You can't drive the car when it is on the ground. I wouldn't mind saving the money though.

I voted for the 17s, but the 18s would look sweet too. The 19s are too big for my taste.

i don't really like big wheels, but for what you're doing i like the 18s. the 17 look too small and those particular 19s at least look just like 18s. and definitly silver and not chrome.

I would go 18's and lay rocker. I think you should go billets. They are expensive but since you like mini trucks and such I figured you would like them. Only thing is its hard finding billets in 4-lug.

Cost is always an issue for almost everybody. I am just willing to wait to get what I really want and do everything right the first time. Believe me, I have no more money than anybody else on this board.
I have thought of getting some billet wheels but they are hard to find. They aren't really that expensive for 18s which are probably what I will end up getting. There is a big jump between 18s and 19s in price and it will be three times as much work to get it to lay rocker with 19s.

This is one of my favorite wagons. I was talking to him and he said he had his wheels custom made by Budnick.

Yeah I know ive posted it before but I just think its a badass wagon.

I've been thinking about billet because it will set me that much further away from looking like a racer.
Those Budniks look like they have a really deep offset and they are still tucked pretty far in the wheelwell. I wonder how he pulled that off?
I have plenty of time to look around for wheels, airbags are first and they haven't even been released yet. The car looks good enough for now with the Prelude Si wheels on it.
Once I get the air on their I will be able to try a bunch of different wheels to make sure I have no problems tucking and then I can definitely choose between 18s and 19s.

Yeah that car is never driven. He has the airbag/tokico strut set-up but he is about to switch to the EAI polished cylinders from the hack shack.

Have you ever asked him how the ride is with his current setup? I really want my car to ride good because it is going to be our daily driver for a while after the Prelude gets painted and before I start on the bodywork on it.
BTW: we bought the paint the other day for the 'lude. It is House of Kolor Sunrise Pearl. We are going to wait until spring to paint it, we aren't in a hurry until show season starts again.

my vote is 18's im not really into the lowrider scene myself, but i respect it for what it is. 18's seem solid for this application, i would prolly choose billet, silver, or an 18 chrome with out a ton of chrome, more of a subtle chrome.
This is coming from a 15" flat black Rota owner, btw...

As of right now, these are on the top of my list of wheels I want. I am also planning on getting them in 18s with 225/35/18s but once I get my air ride and can test fit some different wheels I may end up with 18s in front and 19s in the back.

I vote 18s, 17s are nice too but you have bigger wheelwells then I do, but I think 19s would look funny, the wagon isnt that big
