they can handle about the same power 300-350 watt per coil.
it is up to you. perfect can handle deeper bass.
Alex.
in theory, the two 12's will be louder... 300 watts RMS subs... you have two, so you need a mono amp at about 600 watts at 2 ohms to run them...you can get a 600x1 at 2 ohm sony mono amp for $300... XM-6001GXD is the model number.. this is at crutchfieldanother brand to look into is blaupunkt... about the same price shoud get a littl ebetter amp...

It also depends on what type of music you plan on pushing through them. If you are into higher bass, such as rock or pop, the 10" will have a better frequency response than the 12's. However, if you are into hip-hop, rap, and other types of low-hitting bass, then the 12's will give you better results.
I like my 2 12" Infinity Perfects and got a good price on them. I was thinking of doing one 12 JL Audio W7 but i would need a large amp to power it and i dont need that much bass. I like just a good mixture of bass and mid/highs. To be honest i was happy with only 1 perfect in my trunk but i had the pair.
Ive heard the Refs and the perfects, i think they sound close but id actually take the single 10 if you were going for sound quality.
