    3M Tint?

My local tinting place only uses 3M window tint, so how good is it? I know it's a popular brand, but is it good quality, is it metalized? Anyone have it?

Thanks for all the help! I originally tried to tint the car myself (with Walmart tint), but it was a pita, had bubbles, and turned purple after a couple of months. So after seeing everyone's opinion on 3M tint, I am definately going to go with 3M and have it put on professionaly.

3M makes everything from cheap dyed tint to top of the line metallized tint. Go with the top of the line and it ought to be as good as the other name brands.

the best thing to do is find a reputable tint shop in your area In Dallas Artec has been around forever. One good thing to do is call a few local car dealers and see who they use to apply their aftermarket tint.

If the shop is reputable and will be around to honor a lifetime warranty you should be fine.
