    inflikti0n,

It will probably sound pretty good, but Sony subs are not more than entry level, and Kenwood amps aren't either. You have two 4X6" up front?? Are you custom fabricating pods for them, or just drilling them into the doors... because I was pretty sure that all of the Accords came with undersize 6.5"s baskets in the doors.

And if that is 4 amps (if I read that part right) then you are going to need an upgraded alternator to keep up. Even if it's just two amps (a 350 watt and a 600 watt) you are going to need an upgraded alternator... NOT Caps or another battery or whatever, those will not prevent your alternator from burning out.

wow... ya I really would not put those four amps on there man....lol.. damn.... thats crazy... you should really try to consolodate some stuff... such as you are not going to need 700w max to run 4 speakers that probably dont handle any more then 160w max... lets say for example that you use all of the amps + lets say a 200w head unit... thats umm a max. wattage of 2100 watts... ??? lol... all I can say is d a m n....... good luck man... dont sit in the car when you turn it on the first time....

just so you know.... Im running a 240w alpine h/u pushing four 6inch pioneers... with a 400w interfire amp pushing 2 12's.... and a 100w fosgate punch amp (rated 145w) pushing 2 6x9's inbetween the 6's on the rear deck... thats a max of 785w ... and I desperatly need a power cap... just so you have something to compare to....

i don't have a picture right now. i am trying to remount my amps. they are upside down in the trunk under the rear dash. i know it is not good for them, but i was in hurry to get the system running. plus so far it never overheated even in 120 deg temperature.
but anyway here is what i have:
    HU: alpine CDM-7871
    http://www.epinions.com/613467_Alpin...splay_~reviews
Speakers: 2way alpine speakers all the way around.
    http://www.savinglots.com/lotprod.asp?item=SPS1729S
    amps: Alpine MRP-M200 1 Channel
    http://www.savinglots.com/lotprod.asp?item=MRPM200
    Alpine MRP-F200 360W 4 Channel
    http://www.savinglots.com/lotprod.asp?item=MRPF200
    Sub: Alpine SWS-1241 12"
    http://www.savinglots.com/lotprod.asp?item=SWS1241
custom 4G wiring, all the connections are goldplated.
System is pushing around 310Watt right now without getting warm.

Thanks i will learn how to do that someday. I have done it all myself not done with it because i started to rush and it wasnt coming out perfect so i stopped. I like the rack in the floor everything is flush and it is intended to be hinged so i can access the spare. I may change to carpet because i think its too much black but the car is gonna be white. I recently came up with an idea to make a rack on the trunk lid but it will require gas shocks to lift it. I have seen it done before but not 3 amps. I will finish it all over the winter while im driving my other accord. I also need a new head unit so i may switch cd changers depending on brand of head unit.

yeah i just unscrewed a couple of screws on the door panel and took out to baskets.. and used a dremel(sp?) tool to drill them in..
also, would i have to goto a honda dealership to get the alternator? and thanks man i appreciate the info i never thought about the alternator.. im no good with stereos..
    87AccordsterLx
do you think i should just get rid of one of the 350w. and have one 350 for my front and rear speakers?

    RobT5580

350 watts is lots. it will be super loud with that much... i have a 1000 and it is way too much for everyday use but i run it almost all the way down.

    Travis

ps... i have 4 farrads of caps. it took twenty mins to charge them. i also had my friends duelly jumpin my car so it would go faster. they work tho.

I honestley don't think 350 watt's is all that much. I've got a 250 watt amp powering my low profile 6.5 in the front and a 760 watt amp for the deeper rear speakers. and then a 1600 watt amp hooked up to the sub in the trunk. I can't Imagine why you would need a 4 farad cap for a thousand watt amp. Before I put my sub in there was no real drain on my battery at all and the bass i was getting out of my speakers was real tight.

    inflikti0n,

That is the one thing that I don't think anyone on here has quite figured out yet. Where to get an upgraded alternator. I think the only route that is available is to call up one of these companies that makes them and claims to make custom ones, and ask them to make one for your engine, custom. The only downside is that it is probably going to be expensive.
