I never really sold my first car either. I needed to get rid of it and my buddy needed a car. We negotiated a price that was heavily in his favor. He gave me a portion of the price and a promise to get the rest after he got paid. Let's just say I'm still holding that promise. I'm not bitter though. He was a tweaker and his life was a mess. He ended up skipping town in the middle of the night and I never learned what happened to him.
