    Passenger Steering Rod

Anybody ever tried taking that thing out or had successfully taken it out before?

Do you mean the tie rod end or he tie rod itself? Why do you want to remove yours?

probably to hit you for asking it. hehehehe, just kidding. Is it bent or something man? u gotta follow the instructions and mark the stock lock nut (or whatever its called) positions before loosening them. Its a dirty hard long work. Have fun.

Thanks for all your replies. The reason why I'm thinking about taking the entire rod out is because I am suspecting something to be wrong with it. It squeaks everytime I steer and it's just getting worse. Oh, about the marking of the nut, I'm cool with that since I'm going to get an alignment after replacing the rod anyways.

I do. I was thinking of spraying some WD-40 on it.
