I want to know. What other parts would you need to get if you 1.5" lowering springs. and would it affect any of the suspention parts.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the fight in the dog.
The effect it would have on other suspension parts would depend on wheather or not your budget includes new struts that can handle stiffer lowering springs. How the car rides and drives after being lowered hinges on that, all lowering springs are stiffer and need a strut that can deal with that extra stiffness. What would I recommend.Originally posted by TigaMan10

H&R 1.5" lowering springs $149 www.optauto.com
2 front Koni struts $212 www.shox.com
2 rear Tokico struts $110 www.shox.com
I do not recommend any other setup for struts other than running Koni's in the rear as well. Or running revalved Bilstiens in the front instead of the Koni's in the front.

Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.

Do you have to have aftermarket struts to get the full effect of the drop springs?? I have a set of neuspeed springs from a 4th gen!! my shocks are shot due to wear (223800 miles) but if will drop it any more or just make it stiffer?? Right now like when i go over a bump its like long up and down movements!!! They are not tight and springy just long!!!

About 50% of what you feel is in the spring stiffness. The other 50% is in how well the strut can control that spring. Control the springs right not only will the car ride drive better, but it will do a better job of keeping the tire in contact with the road. This would mean better transiant responce (where you've got to flick the steering wheel one direction than quickly the other direction to go where you want to go.) And when you encounter bumps, wheather in a strait line or during cornering.Originally posted by Kevin

Since 4th gen's have more suspension travel and thier front springs are longer your not getting the full drop like if you were running lowering springs for a 3rd gen. Did you buy the car that way? Which neuspeed 4th gen springs are they, softsport, sport or race?

they are the race neuspeed springs!! A friend of mine had them on his 4th Gen and gave them 2 me when he sold the car!!
