stupid clutch cables and their need to be located properly

After replacing my pedal assembly for a broken clutch bracket, I've been fighting with a stiff clutch pedal that never wants to act right. Sometimes it was SUPER stiff and other times it wasn't. At first the clutch would engage when the pedal was almost completely extended, then after a while I could hardly get the clutch to disengage at all. And it was always sticky when I pressed the pedal to the floor. It would hesitate to come off the floor and made shifting a bit difficult at times.

Today I could hardly shift so I was going to adjust the clutch. As I was doing so I thought that my problem might be due to how the cable is routed in the engine bay. I moved it to the other side of my CAI and now the clutch is light as a feather with no sticky problems and it shifts perfectly.

TL;DR - route your clutch cable as direct as possible with as few bends as possible and your shifting life will be worry free
