    front wheel bearings

Hey guys, i have a 1980 HB Lx and want to order new front wheel bearings (inside the knuckle) and looked at my Haynes manual which show it as two separate bearings (inner and outer) but then a diagram i found online showed the part as a single larger bearing ...?

Anyone have a part number for the front wheel bearings, and whether for some reason it is just one or in fact two? And while I'm at it if you have the part numbers for the two dust seals as well that'd be great.

    Thanks?

    Re: front wheel bearings

I think the OE configuration was two separate thin bearings running side by side in the knuckle. Most aftermarket bearings will be one big fat bearing with two sets of ball bearings running side by side. It's basically like having the two OE bearings glued together. Functionally, the aftermarket bearings will work just as well as the OE setup, if not a little better (by providing more rigidity).

Not sure about the dust seals.
