I had an idea, and am looking for suggestions/opinions. The interior color of my 89 LXi coupe is that dark redish brown. The local junk yard has a coupe with a pretty clean tan interior. I was thinking of picking up some tan parts and and making the interior of the car two toned. I think it would look great since the whole upper half of the inside is a light tan already. Anyone try this before or have any ideas.
Whatever you like man, its your car. Personally i would just do everything over in a different color of your choosing. I am in the process of doing a fairly tasteful custom yellow/black interior. The door panels are simple to dismantle and paint/re-upholster so all you need to do after that is the front and rear dashes and get some good seat covers and then you've got a different interior...i did it to my old accord and it looked good, for my standards anyway...just my 2 cents but it is possible and fairly easy as well, but what you do is totally up to you.
