has anyone put a 38 DGES WEBER on the 1.8 ek1? for my 1982 Honda Accord

debating on witch one to buy the (32/36 DGEV) or the (38DGES)?
is the 38 DGES too much for my stock ek1?
i just want to get rid of my stock carb and its only like 25 bucks more for the 38 DGES

It isn't going to be too much for a 1.8. You will be amazed at the difference it makes even putting around town. I will never forget the first test drive when I installed one(38) on the bone stock A20A1. So much more torque at lower rpm it had a different sound even in the exhaust.
I recommend either of those , they both perform great but I would't say one out does the other they run completley different to me, all improvements.

try at pierce manifolds if they still exist, they made all the manifold adapters and such to make everything work

$400 is nothing. On my 84 Accord, the 38 was a HUGE difference over the 32/36. Night and day.
