I found all my dipsticks except for the one for the tranny...how do I check the fluid level? It must be hiding down there somewhere...

no tranny dipstick... if u have a 5 speed... there is a bolt on the passenger side above the CV shaft... it is like 1 inch or sumthin... fill there until fluid comes out... use motor oil... and if its an auto... i dunno!

well that's some good info to have (when I convert to manual, which would be nice), but I have an automatic... thanks though.

Auto dipstick is on the passenger side right behind the rad. After warming up the car (and engien off), you have to unscrew it, wipe it clean, and just drop it on the hole (don't screw it back in) to get the fluid level. I'm not sure why they designed it that way but oh well.

unscrew it and then put back in ! that's wierd !

thatts how most things work....
like all little lawnmowers and dirt bikes....it makes it simpler..so you dont have to screw it in waste time
i think its better than having to screw it in...

It's not that easy to get to, I always scape my arm on somthing trying to unscrew it.
