    Engine Bay Pics Only

I'm thinking of putting on a filter, but i wanna see what they look like first,
and also, how long did it take for install, and did you see any noticable performance gains/

Is that chrome spray paint heat resistant? If so, how many degrees is it resistant up to and where did you get it? I wanted to find some but haven't had any luck yet. It looks really cool.

Here's the engine bay from my 88 lxi (which I no longer own). Nothing special. The intake got pretty loud in the top end and there might have been a small performance gain, but I also had an exhaust on there.

Mine's just like that except that I have a red Matrix tube (from a '93 Civic) and a red Weapon-R filter. The intake is all I have; everything else is stock. However, I feel like I pick up speed quicker on the highway with the Weapon-R filter compared to my old Matrix filter.

this is my Tenzo-R filter that i worked into my carbed engine. the air box is empty, and i just put the filter on the plastic hose that runs behind the battery. actually, i was able to feel some kind of increase (probably in my mind) in acceleration when i put this on. although i will admit that when i put on my muffler i felt nothing. the only other thing i have is a stainless, staight through muffler.

The yellow and blue didn't last long. It was from a time when I was planning on painting my car blue and the yellow was the only vacuum line you could get back then. It went to all chrome and black at a later time.

Yasu actually took this picture at one of the meets we went to.
