Messy if you wanna do the work on it then it would be a great car for her, but as it stands it's not gonna be a daily driver. It needs clutch, tranny work and I suspect main bearings need to be addressed. I have had it almost 3 years and only put about 5K miles on it before I started to notice the engine issues. The body is in good shape. I have the car fax report and just smogged and reregistered it.
