Question **Requesting in Depth Info on a B16 Swap for an 89LX**

I have a 1989LX and I want to swap a B16A over into it. I know I could just get another car with the money it would take but I want this. I would like to compile as much information as any of you guys who have done this can give me. I've seen a few 3rd Gen B16's and I'm looking to join the crew. If I could get a step by step or something, that would be awsome. Thanks for your help.

step 1: EFI conversion. Lots of work since you need to swap intake manifold, fuel lines, wiring harness, add lots of sensors and much more.
step 2: get and install B16A and transmission with cable clutch, place racing B series engine mounts, shifter linkages, and axles

You may want to consider sticking with the A20A and getting a better carb/intake setup, upgrading your exhuast and cam.

I'm very highly dedicated to obtaining a VTEC. The gains are well worth the cost. I'm going for the sky with this one. I need information on a swap, not suggestions on what I should do. I am not a newbie.

Sorry, most of the time someone with 19 posts wanting to put a B16 into an LX or DX has no idea what they are doing.

Try carotman's website for information on the EFI conversion and OldSchoolSwap's site about the swap.

...and since you're not a newbie I won't remind you that there is a search function that would let you read every post about the swap on the site.
