    Question brake light

    ok my house is parked on a hill so...my ebrake is constanly on...but now lately when i relaese my ebrake my ebrake light is still on? is there a short circuit somwhere... whats the deal..any way to fix it

    check your brake fluid and front pads they can also cause the light to go on.

    this is not performance, its technical. and yeah to answer ur question check ur pads and ur fluid.

    uhhh the brake fluid and pads have NOTHING to do with the damn e-brake light. you should just check the little switch or somethin.

    Well it does on my girlfriends 86 LX because it would never turn off from the day her fron caliper messed up untill I replaced it.

    SiCReX, the dash BRAKE indicator comes on when you have the parking brake up or your brake system needs attention. Most probably low on brake fluid (need to find out why though, broken hose?).
