    stock carb or ....????

How could I tell If I still have the stock carb.? I had my carb. rebuilt a while back and when I got the car back everything was different... I noticed a definite power gain so I was wondering if maybe they screwed up my old carb. and to save their ass they got a aftermarket one... thanks guys...

Well if the stock air box is still on then it's the stock carb. its just that you don't have vacuum leaks like old carbs have... and the fuel passages are cleaner.

ok.. because the air box was almost in a different place like the whole thing was moved over 2inches back and left... maybe it was just my imagination... Im not sure... also I have one more queston. There is this clinking noise coming from the front side of the carb under the air filter box. I cant really pin point it but if it werent for that noise the engine would sound great. Thanks Mike.

woohoo!!!! It sure does... If I let the engine warm up before I take the car out... damn... when I punch it she screams like crazy and just goes.... I mean she really pulls hard for a 2.0l sohc... So Im happy with the rebuild. Once I get the headers on there I'll be just plain ecstatic....
