89 accord lx
i just got an 89 accord LX 5spd like 2 days ago. im looking around to find stuff that i could deck it out with, like intake, headers and stuff. but i noticed its rather difficult to find stuff for the 3rd generation, i would really appreciate some advice and opinions for this 17 year old boy who wants a cool car, plz email me at [email protected] with any suggestions, thanks!
Sense you have a carberator an intake would be tough to find unless you make a custom one. As for headers you can get some here www.nopi.com. Do not get the pacesetter exhaust (the header and highflow cat atre fine.) get a 2.25 mandrel bent one from a muffler shop and weld any peformance muffler on. I recomend dynomax super turbo mufflers. If emmisions tests are not a problem then look into a webber carb and a regound cam check with justanothermike or yk86 for more info on reground cams.

anyways yeah i've been to that site before and as far as intakes, they only have them for LXi's, so i was wondering whats the difference between the LX's and LXi's? And the LX's are 2.0L right?

lx, dx are carbed

and if i do this how much does it cost and what does it do for me, and is it hard to do myself?
i dunno much about accords thats why im hear... to learn about what i have under the hood
