All the aftermarket rims I've ever seen require tuner lug nuts. I think it has something to do with tuner lug nuts being taller and being closed at the top of the nut. I'd buy them from the place you get your rims, unless shipping them to you would cost allot.

I tried finding the weight on the Exxes rims on 3 different wheel weight databases, but no luck. I'll bet they weigh more than 20lbs though. I'd recommend to spend a couple more dollars and get the weight to 18lbs or less. Here's a example for $68 more

I know your chasing the lowest possible price but I really do recommend getting the weight down.

not all aftermarket wheels need tuner nuts. it just depends on how the wheels are made as in the style

Ok both the rim that MyGarbageLXI mentions and the one lighter rim I'm telling him about both say that you have to use the tunner lugs nut on. It turns out that when a rim say's that, it's showing a clickable link, here it is. I talks about why and what tunner lug nuts are all about.

Here's a pic of the rim MyGargabeLXI mentioned

the second pic of the wheels needs tuner nuts but that first pic is hard to tell cause there is a centre cap on it. in most cases you just use an acorn seat nut cause there is lots of room around the centre bore for them. under that cap its all open.

Well at this moment the whalentire site is down, but I'm positive that they were $26 (might have been $40 but I'm pretty sure it's $26). When you add a tire selection to your shopping cart it automatically put's the lug nuts into your cart with the option of letting you remove them. One thing you will want to do, when the site come's back up I'd put your rim's into the shopping cart, let the lug nut package stay and see what shipping cost's, taking note of the amount. Then remove the lug nuts and see what happens to shipping, just a thought since they are heavy.

13x5 steelies 16lbs (based on what 88-91 civic steelies weigh)
    14x6/5.5 alloys 17lbs at best

Now you get an idea why I'm talking about keeping the weight to 18lbs or less. Not that you should be spending a ton of money, I'd try to find the lower weight's if their within your budget or if your budget can be streatched a smidge.

Just make sure that you don't buy rims that have a offset that's lower than 40mm. 42mm, 43mm and 45mm are also ok. And make sure that you get 205/40-17 tire size and no other size.

Since your watching your budget I recommend Kumho 712's thier $75 per at whalentire for 205/40-17
