    1989 Honda Accord LXI Starter

Hey guys, I know my starter is going bad and I was wondering, how hard would you guys say it is to replace the starter on these cars? Thanks,

If you're new to wrenching, changing the starter is a perfect first job. It's a handful of bolts with a whole lot of hoses and wires over top of it. It's an easy slam dunk to build your confidence before moving on to harder stuff. Just download the manual and read up before starting. Starter section starts on p. 24-30.

Unhook the battery when doing any work like that on the car is another tip.
