    My new louvers!

I have past up quite a few arm rests, cupholders, even fog light switches, but I never thought I would find rear louvers! I just put these bad boys on here, and it fits that retro 80's look I'm going for. The metal was all intact, and the paint shines up good. Just though I'd share it with you guys.

I believe they are attached by 3 hinges at the top of the hatch. If I can remember right, you can lift and clean the glass.

There are two clips on the bottom, with a plastic piece that unclips, so you can in fact clean the rear window. Then there are two clips at the top connected to a plastic piece that goes the whole length of the window. Are these an OEM piece? I was kinda thinking they were an add on from a company

That's so cool, I cant help thinking how they will keep people from seeing in your trunk if you are missing the cover behind the back seat.

The bar that goes across the top and clips around the rear window on mine is made of metal or aluminum. The 2 clips at the bottom that you attach it to are made of metal as well, but the moving clip/locking piece are plastic.

Congrats on the find! Louvers are the best part of the 3G in my opinion. My car got totaled last year, but no way did I let the insurance company take the louvers when they took the car.

I love the look of it with them on, completely changes it! I thought they were plastic for some reason, but they are all aluminum on the clips, etc. Ill post a new pic here soon of her all cleaned up

I got some "back to black" on there, and all the sun beaten places are gone.
