Could you check the shipping to 95060? I want to see if I can get enough $$$ before the 6th, My guess is I cant, but I would like to see how much I would need if I can.

NOAHS88accord, I need you to give me a zipcode for your location in Alaska so I can check on shipping for you. I sent you an email about this last week, too.

Project-LXi, the hoods are $480 shipped anywhere in the continental USA. Since your zipcode is a Santa Cruz zip, your price is straight up $480. Additional shipping charges are only added for addresses outside of the continental US. I hope you can join the buy!

For everyone who is thinking about joining - this buy is good for you to get in on. Like I've said before, the shop is selling these hoods ONLY to us (the 3GEEZ) right now and ONLY through these group buys. They will be more expensive in the future if they're sold individually (not through a group buy), and you will most likely have to buy them through a performance shop that acts as a middle man for our guy's CF manufacturing shop. The shop owner has shown no interest in selling hoods individually up to this point.

site, ur right that this is an outstanding deal, and great product to get in on, but being that it's so close to the holidays, many are "strapped" for cash.

What are the possibilities of extending the due date to after the new year?

I agree. It's a great Idea, but so close to Christmas is not. I'd be in if it was at the end of winter or beginning of spring.

So no Turismo hoods huh? For those interested in something other than an OEM hood, post a message below. I have access to having any hood made for any car that exists. I know for sure that i can get the vented CF hoods made. Would need about 12 of them, possibly more. Lead time would be about 1 month from the time of the 12th order being placed. They would not be 1 by 1, every hood would ship at the same time, so nobody is left to be dead last in getting thier new toy. The price would more than likely be about the same as the 2nd OEM buy. What other CF pieces do you all want?? i can check on those also. let me know. check out the website at www.ketronsales.com. You can view some pics of how the OEM hoods look. Very good quality!! lets hear the feedback......

LowAccord2, would you mind starting a separate thread for this if you are trying to start another group buy?

Please understand that I'm not trying to be difficult. I just like to be organized. It helps me plan things out better if this thread stays dedicated to the group buy we're trying to put together. My mind is slow - confusing it just makes things worse! LOL.

On another note - in response to everyone's request:
The deadline for this group buy has been extended to January 17th!

So far, the order of the group buy is:
    hondaman87
    sTuPiD8001
    ‹^› ‹(•¿•)› ‹^›

7 left to go! I hope the extended deadline helps everyone who would like a hood but is strapped for cash until after the holidays!

    Individual Order!

Allright guys - the shop owner just emailed me and says he's ready to take individual orders. That means this group buy is no longer necessary.

He'll honor the $480 shipped price (shipped to the continental US, other destinations have an additional shipping cost). He will continue to sell the 86-89 Accord carbon fiber hood exlusively to us only, and without the group buy now. He didn't say why he's willing to do it without the group order - I'm supposing that with the mold already made, he figures it just doesn't matter.

So, here's the deal. He wants to continue to do the orders through me. I guess he trusts me since we did the last deal through me.

This means you can order a hood whenever you like. Today, next week, next month - whenever.

Email me to place the order: [email protected] .

You can pay the $480 for the hood through PayPal or you can send me a money order (let me know through email and I'll send you my mailing address).

This is cool, because now the pressure isn't on to get 10!

so how long does an order take from the time we place them to you till the hood is delivered to our door? my glove box broke the other day, so i need to get that replaced first.

It's been taking the shop about 2 weeks to get the hoods shipped out once they receive the order. Count in another week for shipping to most places and you've got 3 weeks from the time you place your order.

Can you order a hood without being in the group buy? like during summer when I would have the money?
