    My LED interior lighting thread.

Well I've been seeing all these LED light threads, and got inspired to do my own. My goal with this car is to keep it looking stock, but modernize everything. So I went with green LEDs for the interior. Not sure what y'all are using for the really small lights, but I still need to change those. Gonna change out the guage cluster front to eventually make it green as well.

For some reason the "heat" lights up brighter then the rest.

Green s2k cluster would be interesting. Can't wait for the PICS!

They are cool, you can get them in any color you want. I contacted them, and he let me know the can set the redline mark anywhere I want. So I'm gonna match it to mine.

Oh yeah! Get that green cover for the dash! That'll look so retro and sweet! Did you ever get the fuel gauge to work?

Well kinda of, I took a resistor off the old cluster (had a bad one). Now half plus 1 bar is exactly full, and empty is empty and turns the light on. Works for what I need, but I still have not fixed the coolant temp.

You need different T5 LEDs for your tiny lights. You're definately on the right path though. You need the SMD LED T5's And you gotta take the LED out of its T5 base it comes in and wrap it around the dash light holder(I'm assuming just like you did the others?)
That's how i got the TINY LEDs to fit. This is the blue LEDs i used. They're SOOOOO bright. Notice the LED is a SMD(Surface Mount) light, not a Dome LED. The second picture is just an idealistic view of the SMD light.

Either way, those pull right outta the base after you straighten out the prongs. Then wrap the prongs around the holder, insert-twist-illuminate!

Awesome, I'll need to pick some of those up. I did just remove the sleeve for most of those. One I was able to just plug into the slot. I'll update when I get the others done.
