    Weird Reving

Alright My car does run fine but it has done this sence I have gotten it and it did it when my friend owned it also. When I first start my car up, only when it is cold, after sittting a while on a day that is about 65 degrees or less, until the car warms up, so for about the first 15 minutes, and only while ideling, it will rev from about 1200rpms to 2500rpms, then once it heats up it will go away. Other then that my car still runs fine and always has other then this problem. Does anyone have any ideas

Clean the fast idle valve on the tb. Spray some carb cleaner or tb cleaner into it and see if that helps.
If your cooling system has air in it, it'll do that also.

    Check the air filter.
Using more gas and hardly any air.
Check vaccume hoses as well, idle speed and does the car overheat? Cause if it does it could be 1. the antifreeze, the water pump, the T-stat, rad (for leaks) and rad cap for lack of holding pressure.

Hope this solves the prob since you have EFI.

if it revs up in down and the fans or doing that then it sounds like you have air in the lines, follow the how to in order to bleed your cooling system,

    hope that helps
