    OUCH...another 3g now R.I.P.

...not mine, someone elses, but it is still very unfortunate and a little funny. I was watching the news this morning before work and one of the last stories was about a guy who went to work and parked his car behind a building cause there were a few other cars parked back there. It was a black 3g coupe, i didn't see the model. Anyway, little did the owner know that the other 2 cars that were parked there were there for a training exercise for the local firemen. Needless to say, when the owner returned to his car at the end of the day, what he saw was a totally demolished, formerly beautiful 3g. The firemen assumed that his car was part of the exercise so the ripped the doors and the roof off with the jaws-of-life. The car was totally destroyed, there were no body panels without a scratch or a dent in them, and the roof was pretty much turned inside out. Imagine how that would feel, i couldn't believe what i was seeing!!!! I bet the look on his face was something like this:

That sucks I'd be heartbroken, and probably shed many tears if I saw my baby in pieces

There were 2 3geez on the news here the other night. The first one was part of like 2 or 3 other cars that were stolen from a body shop where they were being worked on. The guy stole them and sliced the roofs off, and destroyed other stuff on the cars. Second one was yet another chase out in L.A., and they guy being chased was driving an 86-87 LX-i sedan. Looked like he eventually pulled over though, so it didn't get wrecked or anything...phew!

If that happened to me, there would be quite a few fires "close to home" for those firemen.

If that happened to my car all I can say is there isn't a lawyer they could hire that would save them from me.

Well atleast he got a convertible 3g. IF he is smart, he would either win his case by suing the firedept (like that would ever happen) and take his 3g to the shop and custom do it as a roadster. That would be a pleasure to the eyes though.
