What engine is in the 90-93 Integra

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew what model engine the 90-93 Integra, and the specs on it (hp,torque,etc.)

I have a friend of a friend who has one. He wants to race and hes all stock except for a fartcan muffler.

I was wondering if I would stand a chance. Both are 5-speed manual. Read my sig to see what I have done so far. Thanks again

my buddies 92 teg has the b18a1 dohc non vtec....about 145 hp if im not mistaken...there pretty quick

Its a b18a. Not sure of its output but its the least powerful of the b-series. It'll be close, but I think the teg will come out ahead.

that's 98hp/120hp vs 130hp/140hp

Gee I had it narrowed down to 2 car's, now I'm up to 4 lol!
94-98 Acura integra GSR, 95-98 Nissan 240sx, 94-97 Honda accord EX, and 92-97 Honda prelude SI(vtec if possible).

My back is a little better, I'm still off work. Look's like I'm gonna have to get some kind of special shots into my spine next week. I hope that fix's me up, cause this got old along time ago. I actually want to go back to work, beside's I'll be able to settle with the insurance company then and get my car

Well I've sent out a inquiry into getting a fixer up'r 3rd gen. But my problem is disability doesn't leave me with a fat wallet, more like empty.. I'd gladly keep it, even with planning to get one of the 4 car's I mentioned. For my daily driver, I want a airbag. The accident that claimed my accord gave me some halacious chest pain, don't want to go threw that again.

So wait, If I have an lxi with 122 hp stock, plus intake, header, and exaust. Would his 90 Integra still be faster? I know for a fact that it's a 1990 Integra with total rice muffler. I am thinking I have an edge, but we'll see. I'll let you know when it goes down.

get the 240... they are wicked cool... the wheels i have now came off a 240... a 95/5 speed/4 banger. the inside is almost the same as the 89-94? i think thats it... any way... get that and put a nice turbo and FMIC.

It all depends on the driver and the condition of the car. In my own opinion, two heads are better than one.

well i raced a 1gen teg (i think it wasnt the round quad headlights at the front) he had at least a 5speed/i/e. I could tell by the sound. i have "look at sig" we it was neck and neck tell 2nd then he started to pull and then by 3rd i started to pull up to his front fender. then he started to pull away . when it ended i was at his rear bumper. not sure what else he had.

1Gs are fucking SLOWer that the 3rd Gen. This thread is about 2Gs, and a 2G with I/E anre not slow. Not fast but deffinatlet not as slow a a 1G.

I raced my friend in his 92 GS, he has exhaust, aI had I/E+slipping clutch (not REAL bad, but enough to notice) and it was even up untill about mid 3rd gear, then he pulled like 2 or 3 cars...

yeah my bad i just looked at a 90 teg on ebay and thats just like the one i raced. i forgot that there was a generation before that.

so it was a 2nd gen

i drive a 90 teg RS 4 dr auto....i kill 3rd gens w/ 5 spds, ive raced a coupe stock ones an ive raced one that had exhaust from what i could tell, im pretty sure he'll beat you and if he dosent hes a bad driver, have a frien with a 90 teg with just intake and axle back exhaust running 15.5
