    New to the Honda sceen

    Whats up guys I just recently bought my first Honda it is an 89 Accord Lx 5 speed carbureted with 193,000 miles I paid 150$ plus 150$ to replace the alternator. I think I robbed the guy lol. Anyways im new to this and was wondering what all modifications were possible for this car? Any help/advice would be awesome thanks!

    Hello, and welcome to the forum. Yeah, I agree that you may have robbed the guy. Would like to see a photo of your car when you get a chance.

    Regarding modifications, I'm not the person to answer that; I have done no engine or mechanical mods to my 88 LX-i. Other members here are much more knowledgeable with regard to mods to Honda Accords.

    Need a new windshield and I have the trim for the drivers side
    just need to bend the fender back or replace it but im not going
    to paint it or anything I would like to make it a sleeper!

    carb and turbo I was looking at
    any suggestions on things to do to give my car more torque
    can anyone explain to me a cam swap what it will do and which cam if any that I need to get?

    You have the cart well ahead of the horse, I'm afraid. The car is old and tired and you need to focus on getting all the other mechanical issues sorted out before you start adding go-fast stuff. Save your money for awhile. The car is going to throw you some curve balls in the next few months and you'll need your money to fix it. Once you've made it reliable, you can start modding.

    Okay will do these are things I am just interested in doing on down the line can u tell me what the numbers on the carb are? Thanks for the advice and I will continue to update as the car comes together I plan on all new vacuum lines next week along with suspension what other things should be replaced?
