Got this car for a good price so going to see if I can't fix it up. V6, air, power everything, had leather but putting cloth seats back in for now at least. Hope you all don't mind me putting a thread up about a 5G

Here's what we did so far in a couple of afternoons.







This thing was nasty inside.
After taking the front clip apart I discovered this car has not took one hit but 2 on the front. However, the frame looks straight and rust free. With a little modification to the bumper mounts I believe I'll have all of the body lines looking good. Was a biotch to find a V6 fender though. Yes they are different than a 4 cylinder.
God only knows what else I'll find wrong with this thing. Not too much I hope but thank god their plentiful in the junkyards. Lot easier to find parts for than a 3G.

Found a fender. A bit rough but for $40 and it being a hard to find part I guess it'll do with some body work

Cloth right now and get the original ones redone in cloth if we keep it.

Getting there slowly. This by no means is a finished product if we decide to keep it. But we need to drive it to make our minds up and this will certainly suffice for the time being.

My paint and body skills or lack of will be put to the test on this for sure. She wanted a 5G and of course we would have to find a black one!

2? I wish it was just 2. Try 5 plus my work truck. 87 & 88 hatches, 87 sedan, 95 sedan and an 02 Grand Prix the oddball of the group. Then my work supplies me with an 07 Dodge Ram 2500. I have a parking lot lol. Although 2 of them are in the garage away from nosey eyes.
