Started researching what the DA guys have been doing, and came across this little mod. It's a cup holder from Taurus, and it fits perfectly in the radio din.
It needs to be moved out about a 1/2 inch to have tall cups clear the ac controls.

What year taurus did this come from? It looks great!
Think with a little diy this could fit where the stock cupholders would go?
Not sure on the year range, but mine came from a 95. I believe the mercury sable has them as well. Just go on ebay, and type Taurus cup holder.
Think it would be possible to mount in the stock cupholder spot and make it look clean?
I'm sure it is possible, but it would probably take some rigging. It just plugs directly into the radio slot.
You've defiled your car. LOL

It felt a little weird putting a ford product in here lol.
Nice find Looks Good :-)
...But you're right it feels.... Off ... as if feel a great disturbance in the 3GeeForce; as if millions of Honda's suddenly cried out in terror and then were silenced...
Birthdays are good for you!! Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.

BUMP ! you need a see through beverage for viewing that double din.
This ended up not being functional as the top of the cup/can hits the ac controls. If there was some way to move the cup holder out it could work well.
need an aluminum block machined out that fits in the radio hole with a step to move it out, same way I put my fuel pressure gauge, choke knob, and primer knob in my radio location
