    Bed∂ed 1989 honda accord ( bed-lined) ( bedlined) Rhino-like-liner

imagined spending 2-3,000 on a nice paint job, then I imagined a sharp rock flying off a dump truck, skidding across my fresh paint I did some research, and decided to painting my car with something durable but interesting. I chose bedliner ... Rustoleum bedliner! + a specialty spray gun! Some prep work, and 67 bucks later... :Click image for larger version.

    Did you get any runs?
How long did it take you?

Looks pretty good from afar! Well done!

I love bedliner and Plasti-dip car finishes. Fairly easy to touch up if ever needed, and dirt cheap. From what I see in those pics, you took your time prepping it to get a good, even coat.

Looks great! Do they offer any colors other than black?

There are companies that offer other colors, but they all fade. Black is the only UV stable color for these bedliners.

I'm thinking of making some pieces to cover some of the wiring harness on the inside of my car, and using bed liner instead of carpet, there are a few corners, such as the fuel line in front of the rear seat in the hatch, that would require some fiberglass covers, but those are easy, I tear up carpets anyway

it took me about 24 hours with prep, and spray- I did not get any runs because i was using a compressor with the proper spray gun attachment for thick liquids- be sure to shake up your can extremely well to make the bedliner nice and thick before application. I will post some close up picks as soon as possible
