    Trunk panel / trap door/false floor 1989 honda accord LXI

    i pulled my old brown trunk carpet; it was smelling, brown, and 20+years old. I also hated pulling out all the carpet and paneling to access jumper cables,spare tires, or anything i had tucked away out of site; so i decided to build a false floor, and bedline it! I;m a bit madD with bed-lining thingssorta...Click image for larger version.

    Very elegant solution. I'd expect that drawer pull to bend relatively easily though. If it does, consider a couple finger holes in the wood instead.

    I did one hundred percent of the interior work myself over the past 3 years . It was a ton of work but it all came out to my expectations I recently wrecked the car avoiding some animals on the road; nearly flipping my car( I had to bang out a heavy dent on the passenger side tail end, replace a passenger mirror, and get another alignment. Other than that- the car survived,and so did I - the engine didn't skip a beat during the entire wreck
