New to 3geez and 3rd gens in general

I just picked up my first third gen this week. A 1987 accord 3door for 600. I'm looking to simply restore it to home shape. Not all out. And am looking into the depth of some sort of awd setup. Hoping to use some wagovan parts and throw a b series non vtec in with a crv trans.

If anyone has any advice or tips for this feel free to share. I've only dealt with 6th gens until now mostly.

Hello and welcome to the forum. "awd" means all wheel drive? If so, I have no idea how would proceed with that.

Thanks. Ya all wheel drive. I'm hoping to swap a b series and use a crv trans and wagovan rear end.

I think these two goals are mutually exclusive LOL. Welcome to the board!

Haha yeah I should've phrased that differently. Restore the body. Fix the rust by cutting and welding new pieces in and hopefully do the awd unless it's too ridiculous. In which case it'll be a small restoration and probably drive or re sell it after

looks clean! theres a AWD 3gee on here using nissan engine and rear end (seriously had to cut the rear floor pan out and weld in from a nissan) ...a lot of work but if you set your mind to it anything is doable!

Yeah there's a lot of ways to go about it so I haven't decided yet. Might just clean up it's rust and enjoy it.
