    think this is a winner?

i have an LXI (newly aquired), so i'll get strut bars... i'll try to get my hands on rear disk brakes... personally, i like 15's with more rubber, even though i have more flex with the extra rubber... as for the sway bars, i think i'll send mine off and get customs... struts will be revalved bilsteins... springs will be customs made by hypercoils, that's why i needed to know about the stock setup...

these wheels are probably what i'll be getting:

so what do you think so far?

for the little difference in weight, an option to the Spoons that would leave your pocket a little more full would be the Rota's. They're still incredibly light, and well worth the money.

i totally agree with Mark. and the with the Rotas your car will still be worth more than your wheels. and 15s are the way to go anyway.

Agreed, he did not mention a desire to autocross, to that's why (in the other thread, not sure why he posted the same thing in a new thread) I mentioned 16" rims. Aren't spoon rims like $460 each?

JDMHondaparts.com has them for $385 for 15" and $485 for 16". it was worth a more, but i payed $400 for my car to put that into perspective.

well, i'll prolly be doin some autocross, but i'm not building the car just for that... i still need streetability (the ride doesn't matter...) and a good handling...

i haven't looked at the rotas yet... but i will...

my car was $200 without a motor (well, it has half a motor)... so a set of cheap tires would cost more than the car

I haven't heard of them, to I cannot say yeah or neah. I can tell they they must be a selection of different spring rates and spring lengths. Same thing as eibach's EIS springs, which you can see on ground-controls site. Picking what length will drop the car to what ride height would be really difficult unless the company know's how to equate corner weight info in final ride height. Adding opm's blank coilover kits to them would take the guess work out of that. I wonder if that spring company even makes the 3" diameter springs he'll have to have to run in the rear?

BTW, I'd be shocked if they even offer progressive springs, I'm certain they are linear, just like the Eibach EIS race springs.

    Looks fine to me.

You'll have you work cut out in trying to figure out which length to buy for a specific drop, especially since you don't have corner weights for each corner of the car. That's why I recommened the coilovers. Your car use's 3" diameter springs in the rear and 2 1/2" in the front, I noticed that hypercoils carries a few in their truck spring section so look their.

I could not find price info, how much are the springs per spring?

no idea about price, but it's not a biggie to get my car weighed at the corners (race track has scales)...

thanks a million for the input
