Window busted, stero stolen and center console completely trashed...
It happened during the day, outside of work...on a major street on plain daylight...heater control, vents etc are all broken and it seems that they used an fing crow bar to get in there...now to the yard and see if I can replace all of this...just got a quote for the passenger side window...$200 dls....

damn that sucks man, sorry to hear about it. Some people have no respect for anything.
Bout sounds like my friend's accord. Guy broke into it while it was at a shop for repairs. Stole the radio out(Left it in another car) tore the dash to hell. Stole the blinker lights and ripped out the grille.

Shitty! Get a window from a wrecking yard. They're super easy to replace, and probably will be only like $30.
I got the window from the YJ already, as well as the ac/ heater control unit. The problem is that the bracket were all goes in is broken. So I either need to improvise and build one or get the dash from JY, will be tough to find one that is in decent shape. Mine was, oh well, I'll keep looking!

I usually see them is good condition. It's hard to tell in the pic from your other thread, is the dash brown?
HLW, the dash is burgundy ( dang it or is it brown?) Mine was in excellent condition, I am going to try to make a bracket so I can keep the labor to a minimum. In the meantime, I will continue to look at the JY and see if a good one comes up. Sucks to be driving without my CD player though. Now I hear all kinds of noises from the suspension! Which made me replace all 4 shocks. Well, 2 fronts fronts, rears hopefully tomorrow.
