I haven't had time to read that long ass thread in its entirety, but I've read most of it and I can say one thing. It seems that all of you are going overboard on this whole thing.

I'm not sure how many posts have been deleted, or what Mike's been doing with his moderator ability, but the whole thing between Nate and Mike is easy.

There's no way you can drop the hammer on Mike like this when you look at how many times Nate has violated the rules on this board. There are countless personal attacks on members. At times they are not just simple disagreements or potshots, but very immature and innappropriate responses. One thing in particular would be the obscene picture that he'd use in a number of posts. Sure a lot of his posts are all in good fun, but not all of them.

I'm not saying that Nate should get into any trouble. I just think that it's unfair that we let something slide with one member, yet make a big deal out of things when someone else does it.

I think a lot of you have just jumped on the bandwagon and haven't really thought this through.

one difference, nate can't delete posts or is in a position of power and influence. Mike was, that is why he is now a regular member. as a regular member he can do the same crap nate does, if he steps over the line like nate does sometime, his post gets nailed like nates do...

I've only been on this forum for less than a week, but I've seen some of the things that Nate have said...and as far as I'm concerned they're funny!!! I know that all the shit that he talks is all in good fun. If he didn't do it, someone else would. It's inevitable...there's always one clown. However, if he is saying things that can't be explained on the basis of humor, he should get a warning. I guess 3 strikes or whatever. But I don't think he truly means any of the shit he talks...
As far as Mike goes, I didn't know that he was deleting posts, seeing as I've only been here a little bit. I think that's just plain obsurd. Granted, he's got some dough, and could mod his cars to his liking if he wants. And he may have been a moderator, but that gives him no right to remove posts that he personally finds offensive if they're all in good fun. Maybe he needs to grow some hide and think of something to say back...keeping it HUMOROUS, mind you. And that bit about not posting pics of cars that he didn't personally like (after saying he would) is just immature. If you don't want to post someone's car, don't offer. If you do offer, follow through. Act like an adult every once in a while...it'll work wonders.
But like I say, I'm one of the newest of newb's, so what the hell do I know? I just hope things are settled and we can get back to talking about our cars, who pees standing up, and how much air you've gotten in your car:lol. Just relax fellas, and appreciate that fact that the board's even here...

I have been here about 4 or 5 months now.Ya I've got slack from nate about my car.But he's not the First person to say anything bad about my car.People like my car some don't but i don't let that get to me like it seems it gets to others.I've sent a pic to mike and he diden't post it.I didn't care.Can't we all get back to being a happy 3geez family. GD, i've finnally read though all of this. it is infact a pritty good soap opera in my opinion (i'll get some popcorn and find pearl drop). i'm a newbie as a member of thie board, but i've been surfing it for a while. i agree with cdscowboy on it though. i think that nate just likes to be very blunt about things that other peeps don't want to mention. its a good quality and adds comic relief to this board. i also think that mike is pritty good actually. from what i've heard he has been a long time member and has helped alot with making this board. hell, i think he even responded to a post i made. the only thing wrong i see how he let personal preferance interfear with his position as a moderator. but i don't think he should have his position taken away for this, just a warning (the next time it happens though, i'd have him dropped to a regular member).

All i have to say is that Nate's an inconsiderate ass hole that has nothing but dumb-ass remarks to what anybody has to say. A lot of the things he has to say personally make me sick, and if you're thinking, well just don't look at what he posts, well that's kind of hard to do when he's on the majority of them. As for the deleteing of posts, i don't agree with that, i mean i know i'd be pissed off if someone deleted something i wanted other pple to see. Peace*Sigurl

It's weird that most people replying don't get that this thread isn't about Nate's behavior. It's about Mike abusing his moderator status by deleteing threads without pesmission, and flaming members. I also heard he made a pretty nasty thread towards the other mods for not defending him.

So I think Nate should be left out of further replies, because he is not the one this is all about.
