Somewhat my fault cause there were no other parking spots left when I got there. So I was stuck parking next to the scrap metal pile. I left 4+ feet of room, dude on the forklift still managed to drag a sharp corner of sheet steel across my new paint, just above the rear wheel well. Only two inches across, but its deep! And the PO had just had the car re-sprayed prior to me getting it.
Took me a couple of days to find it, cause its on the passenger side.... But after raising hell about it @ work (even before the co-worker owned up to it!!) My boss says "Take it in to the body shop, I'll pay for it. Just get it fixed!!"
I had to pick my jaw up off the floor!! Guess my job DOES take pretty good care of me & my almost 30 year old cherry Honda.
Co-worker says they'll need to re-do the whole quarter panel.... We will see. Cause if boss is paying, it IS getting fixed!!
