Here's a list of Coilovers you can get.

Ok I put this together in a effort to track down all the 86-89 and 90-97 coilover kits that I could find. I have not yet contacted any of the companies, so if their spring rates are not listed in the "spring stiffness" post, I do not know them,...yet.

I have provided all the info I could get so far, including each companies run down of their own product. I will edit and up date the info as I can do so. If you know of a brand not listed, please pm me with that info.

    skunk2 coilovers:90-97 accord $299.00 www.nopionline.com

Skunk-2 springs are CNC hot rolled using SUP12 alloy spring steel, heat treated, stress relieved, pre-set, phosphate treated, powder coated, and finally printedwith the Skunk-2 logo. Hot rolling produces a spring with a consistent grain structure that is extremely resilient and will not deform or change rate. The
combination of hot rolling and using only the highest quality alloy wire results in a spring with superior performance and ride characteristics. For increased strength, the dual spring perches are CNC machined from hot forged AL6061-T6. SkunkWorks Coil-Over kits allow you to adjust your ride height anytime you want. They provide more suspension travel and therefore will ride
better than a normal lowering spring, even at extremely lowsettings.

    Tenzo Racing Coilover:90-97 accord$230 www.crveverything.com
    www.tenzoracingsports.com/

Tenzo-R Coilovers are precision engineered to maximize your suspension performance. Carefully matched spring rates and height adjustability provide exceptional handling, response, control and balance. Increased spring rates combined with the ability to lower the center of gravity helps reduce body roll and
optimize power transfer. Comes complete with everything you need for easy installation. Anti-locking Teflon O-rings assist the wrench tool for easy height adjusting.

They do work, several members have them on their cars. Accordlx, yk86 and A20a1 have them.

Keep in mind this is a list of sleave coilovers. No full bodied coilovers for any other generation of accord will work.

ok, so if they work, im almost positive the 3rd and 4th gen have different spring lengths, you can use them without comprimising anything. interesting. Now that would be absolutly amazing if we could use full bodied coilovers.

ok jim... i just got my AIM low boyz back. i have them installed and they are soooo stiff. they arent like a gocart, but when i am rippin around, the body rolls almost none! i knew i was getting them back for a while. they remanufactured the bodies and they fit no problem. when i first instaled them, i had them at the lowest setting, my car was like 2 inches from the ground! any way, i took some pics and i will have them on the site soon. so i think you should add the aim low boyz. BTW there is no bounce what so ever! i hit the biggest speed bump i knew of and it bounced once like it should then went normal. they are so cheap at 279 bux a pair. they have a lifetime warenty so if they blow, just send them back.

Yeah you can drive the car with the stock struts on, It won't be a pleasant experience when the road isn't smooth. All lowering springs are stiffer and even with the softest ones, some of the aftermarket sturts still don't have what it takes for the extra stiffness. The koni's are the only one's that have what it takes to keep the car under control with stiffer springs and keep the ride as close to factory over all road conditions.

I thought you were getting a new car anyways? Still keeping the accord?

for the moment yes, i have to wait till about june or something next year, so i figured i might as well do some more shit on the accord.

ive got nearly $2k coming my way in the next few days from work, so im doing cosmetic work on the car, lowering, window tint, and doin the whole audio system. I just put a new HU on layby, ROOOL!: it rules, im get active crossovers, the boot redone, and im getting a new parcel shelf instlaled next week, just got that booked in! ... oh yes sorry this is suspension section,!

I Just applied for a credit card so hopefully if i get it, ill be able to order my suspension shit from the US, as it's a) easier to get the right stuff and cheaper!....

actually i found in an auto shop, they sell these spring compressor things, designed to lower the car from 0" - 2" anyone tried these? i wouldnt mind giving them a shot they are about $20 bux or something....

Slammedlxi: did your coilovers come in a set of 4, or a set of two?? I'm so confused, they don't write anything about their product.

I think most work on 86-89. To my knowledge, they did not change the suspensions for most models AT ALL from 86 until after 89. I could be wrong (someone should correct me) but I don't think so. So I would say they did. I have a feeling they sell them in pairs of four, or else he wouldn't have said it the way he did, that it was $124, and that he lowers his car depending on his mood... I would guess he got 4 of them.

I want to know the same thing. So I have to get struts too? I thought I just had to get the coilovers and they come with the springs I need so I'm all set. What do I have to get?
