new 1989 SE- I coupe owner saying my first hellos..

Hello everyone Ive been watching for awhile but just recently joined the forum. Thanks for having me I owned a 89 sei coupe in 1992 when it was like new and sold it in approx. 1995 and always missed that car. So a few months ago when I found a one owner blue SE-I coupe exactly like my old one with 62,000 thousand miles on it I couldn't resist! The only major prob. with this car is it sat outside for many years and the leather and paint are in poor cond. so I will be spending some money on this little car to make it as close to like new as pos. I have already done a few things. I installed nos oem carpet the other day that really spruced it up. The seats should be done in a couple weeks. (their being redone in new leather) I know I should be posting pics and I will be as soon. thanks again Ricky

I think the carpet was 200.00 I am amazed at how well it went in absolutely perfect. like you would expect from Honda

Very nice!!... Your four door is just like my first se-i. Such great cars!

I am very jealous of the carpet... I think I am going to have to try and hunt down some OE carpet. I bought aftermarket carpet and installed it last year... not very happy with the fit.

^ x2 carpet I got would have fit if there were no ducts running from under the dash to under the seats. But there are, so its all wrinkly and wavy and looks like S*&%.

This carpet looks absolutely perfect. Were all the holes pre cut or did you have to cut them?

It was 100% plug and play. every hole was exactly where it should be. No massaging, or stretching. It set right in place.

I ordered it thru my local Honda dealership in Vancouver wa. ( Hannah Honda) came in a huge old nos Honda box box!
