    clutch needs adjustment

    so its sad to say but my clutch is on the road to gone, and the sooner i get it fixed the better i'll be....oh and did i mention i have to get it fixed back home which is i belive 124 miles away....so i was told to get a clutch adjustment, which i believe all u have to do is turn some bolt with your hand upward....well i cant turn it...what do i have to do?

    ok, it's not that bad to do at all... ...if you just wanna tighten up the cable a bit for a little better grab, the best way to do it is actually grab a small floor jack, and a block of wood or something like it, wheel it right under that arm that the cable attaches to and jack it up. Don't go too high otherwise you'll begin to lift the tranny. Once the arm is pushed up, there should be slack in the cable, now just twist that adjustment nut down to basically reduce the throw of that arm when the clutch is fully depressed and you should be fine for a little while.
