    Integra Axles

Night commented in a post that the 2nd Gen Integra axles are the right length for our cars.

night wrote: "i know 2gen axles are the right length, but i wasnt sure about them fitting in the hub."

madmod89lxi followed up with: "well i pulled apart the joint took out the clip and slid out the splined part on each end"

Has anyone put Integra axles in?
    What would the benefit be?

    Thanks!

I doubt there would be any benefit unless the different lengths simplify a b-series swap or something like that. Maybe they're a little larger diameter so they're a little stronger?

The integra uses an intermediate shaft on the drivers side axle to make them equal length and reduce torque steer. Wether you can get the intermediate rod's support bracket to bolt to an a20 block or not is probably going to be the biggest issue.

    Read my mind

Once or twice while trying to claw my way out of tight corners and only when I encountered some offcamber road work did I ever see torque steer. And frankly for the slit second it occured, it's a none issue for me. A LSD would cure the problem for me.

I get torque steer when it switches into 2nd gear at high rpms, it always throws my car off to the side and it sucks

I have that problem to, but that probably has somthing to do with my tranmission going and only shifting higher in the rpm range.

very true.. i have drivin my buddys 93 coupe...and compared to driving my accord.. i can feel more power in the accord then the civic..
even when my buddy took mine for a drive.. he said the same..
"wow, i can feel more power" haha
and it's true...our engines produce some pretty hefty torque.. thats what gives them that good power..

it's not the HP that counts. it's the torque... thats where your power is
