    Flywheel/pressure plate bolts

Couldn't find this on here anywhere so I figured I would share. B series and D series flywheel and pressure plate bolts are the same as the A series. Confirmed through part #'s on majestic honda.

    arp part #
108-2202 pressure plate bolts B series 9 pack
    208-2802 flywheel bolts B series 8 pack
108-2201 pressure plate bolts D series 6 pack
    208-2801 flywheel bolts D series 6 pack

D series arp flywheel bolts are about 2.5mm shorter for some reason. But majestic honda lists that its the same as A series.

Have you or anyone tried this out to see if they'll work?? If so I'm interested. Same thread, head size, length and 12 point?

It's not about what sandwich you can buy, it's about making one that's different from every other one.

Have not tried them yet. Waiting on money. According to part #s on majestic Honda they should be the same. Looking at pics the flywheel bolts are 12 point and pressure plate bolts are 6

I could see this working after all they are just bolt. Why would honda go out of there what to change the bolts for the different series motor's. It's would cost to much to do.

Only difference is the D series flywheel bolts are about 2.5mm shorter. Threads are still the same. According to ARP website, the d series bolts were intentionally made shorter to better accommodate lightweight aluminum flywheels. Which tend to be a bit thinner.

    Re: Flywheel/pressure plate bolts

Unless you are turbo or have a balanced engine that revs up to 8k you don't need to run arp bolts. I used stock ones on my 164whp a20
